Indian cookery, Buffalo, NY

Cooking for me is an art. Once you know the techniques then you have freedom to experiment with variety of foods. My grandmother taught me the techniques of cooking when I was 13. From buying fresh produce to how to cut. I learned all about using right spice blends, cooking techniques and what kind of pots to use.

I hardly remember following a recipe and using measurements. I grew up eating a fusion of Marathi and South Indian cuisine as my family is from these regions. My style of cooking is mostly based upon the flavors from these regions. On my cookery blog you can find all the recipes of the food I cook, eat and experiment.

Cooking social

– Do you and your group want to relax and dine with me ? This is more of a casual dining experience with your group where I bring all the ingredients to cook and then we all eat together. You can bring your own beverage. I usually bring some snacks and my chai to enjoy while we all cook.

Cooking class

A pinch of my finger is a teaspoon and my hand is a cup.

This is how I learnt to cook. If you want to learn the techniques and basics of traditional Indian recipes then this is for you. Check the schedule on my cookery page for my upcoming classes or contact me if you are interested in organising a class with your group.
